New Books Available!

There is still (probably) time for you to order PoD from Amazon and still have it arrive by Christmas, and I’ve just put out 3 new books you can get there.

Home? (2nd Edition) – A revised and corrected version of my novel “Home?” featuring a new cover in a smaller, easy-to-carry size.

RPG LTE: Swords and Sorcery – BETA – A print version of the beta available on the “Downloads” page for those who prefer that or would like to support the idea with your dollars (though it is basically being sold at cost because it is a beta)

Stickies: The Collection (10th Anniversary Edition) – All 250 Stickies comics (and even some fun extras) collected together in glorious full-color for this volume on the 10th anniversary its inception.

If you like what I do, please consider buying a book; I love it when physical copies can reach new places.

(If you are short on cash because of the holidays but still want a book, you might want to wait until early next year when I hopefully {it’s not like I usually over-commit myself or anything} will be setting up an online store separate from the Amazon one where not only my books, but many of the other cool ephemera I have created will be available.)

Blog 10-30-16 – October Update

All right, I said I would be doing another blog before November, and here we are… with less to report than I had hoped, but nevertheless it is an exciting time.

First things first I will be participating in a few events: the second Big Bend Comic Con will be in Alpine Texas on November 5th, and I’ll have a table in the Artist’s Alley. And the 2016 Artwalk festival will also be in Alpine November 18th-19th where I will have a stand on the walk selling my books.

And speaking of books I have a couple new ones I’ve been working on that will be debuted at the Comic Con and then go on to be featured at Artwalk. These will be available soon from the Amazon store link as well. Here’s a photo of the proofs.

There’s a new Walking the Roosters, Stamped, and a printed version of the Beta of RPG LTE.

On the more personal side of events, I have finally finished my move (which if you count that as the time from when I moved out of my last solo place to where I am now, took more than a year). I still have to finish unpacking (which I’m sure will be a wonderful experience) but I will be moving to a more stable schedule that means I will be able to produce more online content.

And I know I said that I would get more posted in September and October, and I do have many more things finished than I haven’t posted, but I run things by an editor before posting them and she has been very busy lately as well, making it hard to get new things through. But now that I am in a more stable place (and have finished the new books) I will be able to sit down and concentrate much more on what needs to be done on the site. I have my own personal goals for catching up on everything, but I won’t post them here because they will inevitably change. I do really enjoy doing the things I have been online and I hope to get back to it soon, and it shouldn’t be too long before I put up another post with more information about how things are going.

Update 9-3-15 – Books and Big Bend Comic Con

This update comes a little close to the event due to strange circumstances and problems with moving, but it is still here before the event it is discussing.photo-88
This weekend I will be attending the Big Bend Mini Comic Con in Alpine, Texas as an artist. It’s at Sul Ross State University on Saturday the 5th from 1-5 pm. At this event I will be premièring 2 new books and 2 updated versions of my previous books, as well as having my last two compilations for sale as well.photo-89
The two new books are collections of Spiffy the Frog and One Off Beat. They will join updated editions of my not-available-online books Sturmpanzerwagen and Drak Pouste, and my two previous collections of All Life, No Lemons and Panzerkampfwagen. Shortly after this convention, these new books will be available on Amazon and the Createspace e-store. And additional post will be made when that happens.photo-85
I hope you enjoy your Labor Day weekend and festivities and I hope if you’re in the Big Bend area you can come down to the Con and say hello!

Blog 8-26-15 – Moving and Mini Convention

Hello folks! Unfortunately today there will be no extra review or article post like the last few weeks as I am moving and had to prioritize many of the more regularly scheduled items. This is the same reason many of the videos I have planned have been delayed. There is another EDC series to go with the summer blog posts, and a few other fun ones in the making right now. I hope to put these up soon after I get my life smoothed over.

But in more exciting news, I have been working on 4 books, 2 more collections of my web-comics, and two updated versions of small books I did previously. If all goes well, these books will premier at the Big Bend Mini Comic Con on September 5, at which I will have a table. When they are released, I will have a separate post dedicated to that.

I hope the summer went (and is going) well for all of you, and I hope you can be patient with the posting schedule. And if you’re in or around the Big Bend area of Texas on September 5th, I’d recommend coming this new fledgling event in Alpine.
